Conditions: Lines and Wrinkles

What are Lines and Wrinkles?

Similar to aging skin, fine lines and wrinkles are determined and caused by many factors such as your lifestyle, diet, heredity, and other personal habits.

Fine lines and wrinkles can be distinguished by the depth of the crease in the skin.
Fine lines tend to be superficial, thin and less noticeable while wrinkles tend to be deeper set and more visible. Naturally one factor which causes wrinkles is daily movement of the muscles, this is why you generally notice wrinkles, or “expression lines” around the mouth, eyes, nose and decollate.

For fine lines we recommend starting with treatments like microdermabrasion, chemical peel, BB glow facial and injectables for preventative measures. Treatments such as hollywood facial, microneedling (collagen induction therapy), RF skin rejuvenation, laser treatments, microbotox as well as injectables such as botox and dermal fillers are generally recommended for deeper wrinkles, pigmentation concerns, loss of volume and sagging skin.

Combining anyone of these treatments with a customized medical grade skincare program will accelerate collagen and elastin production on the dermal layer of the skin. The most effective ingredients used to correct fine lines and wrinkles are vitamin A acid/retinol and hyaluronic acid.
